| JTM0106071331 Due to expansion this blue chip insurance company has created a vacancy in its Gibraltar offices for a Claims Controller, reporting directly to the Senior Claims Controller. The successful candidate will be required to establish the validity of and process all claims relating to motor vehicles while ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will need two to four years experience in the insurance industry, preferably in motor claims and/or underwriting. Be familiar with service/repair providers locally and abroad. The candidate must be computer literate plus be fluent in English and Spanish. They must have basic mathematics and report writing skills. The successful candidates primary duties will include: 1. Process and pay claims on all motor insurance up to established limits. 2. Where necessary investigate claims through site visits and interviews and prepare reports and other documentation on investigations. 3. Negotiate settlements with claimants or third party insurers. 4. Liaise with claims adjusters, engineers and approved contractors in Gibraltar and abroad. 5.
